Sound Quality is too bad.

If you use a 56k modem or slower, you might find that the quality ofsound is not so good especially if you are connected with more than 2 people. If this happens, ask your party to lower the quality of the image. In order to do this, go to "Codec Setting" under "Setting" and use the lower quality (the default setting is 7). Or your party can choose to transmit in black and white. Remove the check mark from "Encode color if available." The pictures on the right side are for Mac. See below for Windows.

What does a Windows Preference look like?

For Windows the interface for the preferences is slightly different from that of Mac. But if you look closely, you have the same functions. (But I don't find "Encode color if available" option for Windows. You should look through the preferences menu to find out what you can adjust.
